About Us
The Dinner Club meets each week in selected hotels and restaurants throughout a wide area. All the venues are carefully selected for their ambiance, service and cuisine. The moment you arrive you will be greeted by a  trained  Dinner Club host who will  make you feel welcome and relaxed and will ensure introductions are made over a drink at the bar prior to dining. The host will remain on hand throughout the evening to see everything goes smoothly. All you need to do is sit back and enjoy making new friends

Making New Friends
Numbers attending a dinner usually range between 12 and 20 members, dinner dances often attract a larger group. Throughout the year we also organise special venues e.g. black tie events, for up to 200 members from around the country.
Part of the fun is visiting different hotels and restaurants and savouring many cuisines. However the main aim, and it works extremely well, is to add another dimension to our members' social lives.

Going Australian
During the course of the evening we encourage our hosts to ask members to move places in order that they have the opportunity to talk to a wider group. This is known as ‘going Australian’ so called because it was first introduced right back in the early days of The Dinner Club when it was founded in Australia

Achieving A Balance
The Dinner Club make a determined effort to achieve a reasonable balance between men and women, however the spirit of the Dinner Club is to enjoy good food, lively conversation and friendship, regardless of the mix.

New Venues
New restaurant venues are regularly added to our programme, often upon a members recommendation. We also hold more informal evenings involving such things as combining meals with horse racing, theatre suppers, parties in members' homes and dinners followed by dancing at the same venue or a local night spot. At many venues there is the opportunity to take advantage of favourable rates for overnight accommodation obtained by The Dinner Club for members. You will soon be asking yourself 'why didn't I join the Dinner Club earlier?'

Regional and National Events
Good food and good company are just two of the pleasures you'll enjoy with The Dinner Club. It's a name that belies the extent of other activities that are constantly being organised both on a regional and national basis; from a night at the theatre to a day at the races, from a weekend break to a holiday in the sun.
