I never found it easy to meet people, even before I was married, and after my divorce I found it impossible to go out at all. It was a friend who sent for your brochure and filled it in! I was petrified when I went to the first venue but everyone was so understanding and kind I really enjoyed myself. I have been to six since then. All have been as good, so you have a loyal and long  term member on your hands here!
